Don’t miss out on the final day of the Carlsbad Music Festival.  Head to Carlsbad this afternoon to catch the final performances of this 3 day event.  The ninth annual Carlsbad Music Festival will hold it’s final day, today, Sunday, September 23. The festival is an annual event that features world-class adventurous performers and composers in the charming seaside Village of Carlsbad.

Every year, music lovers from all over, highly anticipate the Carlsbad Music Festival.  This year’s eclectic and adventurous festival will feature some of the most interesting musicians working across genres including classical, folk, Jazz, pop and world music.  All events will take place in Carlsbad Village, along Roosevelt St.

This year’s festival features everything from the Carlsbad natives, Calder Quartet’s contemporary take on the string quartet to Sara Watkins’ personal mix of bluegrass, singer-songwriter and pop.  See both artists and more this afternoon:

  • 1:00 p.m. –  Mantra Percussion plays Aaron Siegel’s “Science is Only a Sometimes Friend”
    • Free, Magee Park
    • 2:30 p.m. –  Calder Quartet
      • $20, Carlsbad Village Theatre
      • 4:30 p.m. –  Sara Watkins with MandoBasso
        • Free lawn seating + $20 priority seating, Magee Park
